A New Beginning:

This summer I am away from home and discovering new passions. I am living with a family, working at Dutch Bro's coffee, taking an online class and more. Since I have been at college I have been developing a love for baking and discovering new delicious treats. I have decided that this summer I would start baking more and writing about what I bake on this site. These recipes are not mine, I am using ones I find just to learn and have fun! Day number 1!



Today was the kick off for the first day of my baking month. I decided to start my baking month with my signature cookie. I made Funfetti cookies out of a cake mix. I have been known for these cookies ever since I came to Simpson and they also happen to be my sisters favorite cookies and she is coming to see me so I wanted to surprise her with them. These are the easiest things to make and the most delicious! Since there is only a few of you reading this I will let you in on a secret, the recipe is on the side of the cake box. It is very simple and takes only about 20 minutes to make and bake them. Just add 1/3 cup oil and 2 eggs to the mix. Then roll them into really small balls and bake at 350 for about 8-10 minutes. If you haven't had them you need to try them....seriously! Well If you haven't signed up for a day to have me bake for you..do it soon!
